What is Harmen's Rest?

A new mixed-tenure community of 163 homes across three apartment blocks, delivered in partnership with Fingal County Council and private sector development partners. 68 of these homes, all in Block C, are Cost Rental apartments, owned and managed by Oaklee for the long term.

Cost Rental homes are advertised nationally, and applications are made through the national platform. Where a scheme attracts more applications than homes available, places are allocated by lottery.

You may be eligible for a Cost Rental home if:

  • Your net household income is below €66,000 per year (Dublin)

  • You are not currently receiving social housing supports, including HAP or Rent Supplement

  • You do not own a property, in Ireland or abroad

  • Your household size matches the size of the home advertised

  • You can afford the rent, which must not exceed 35% of your net household income

  • Your household submits only one application per scheme
