The Challenge
The challenge was to support the delivery of a large-scale housing development that responds to growing demand for affordable housing in north Dublin, while creating a sustainable mixed-tenure community with long-term social and economic benefits. The scheme required collaboration across multiple partners and careful planning to prepare for the future management of a significant apartment development.
The Solution
Harmen's Rest is being delivered through collaboration between Oaklee, Fingal County Council and private sector development partners, and includes:

The Impact
Harmen's Rest will deliver 168 new homes in one of the largest developments in Oaklee's pipeline. The scheme will expand housing supply in Dublin, provide both social and Cost Rental homes, and support the creation of a sustainable mixed-tenure community in Donabate. The development also represents an important milestone in Oaklee's continued growth and future delivery programme.
